Awesome mouse. I don’t know if my opinions of this mouse are off because I’ve spent my whole life working with corded and wireless office mice with the customizability/functionality of a cinderblock, but this thing rocks! I’ve never used a mouse with software so I have nothing to compare it to, but it is a fine software that lets you customize EVERY button on the mouse (including the left and right buttons). It goes up to 8000 DPI as promised, and I love the three central buttons for DPI changing and for changing the polling rate. I see no reason to ever change the polling rate so I’ll customize that to something else. The fire button is great for quick-opening drive files or anything else that needs a quick double-click, though I haven’t tested it in a game yet. I got the wireless version which is already pretty good (I love that the wireless adapter can fit snugly into the bottom of the mouse in its own locked compartment, really smart!). But the cable they sent with it for charging is awesome too! It’s a really awesome braided cable that isn’t stiff at all, and I feel no tug or friction from it. It’s as if it’s not there, and honestly, I’d be fine using this mouse as a wired one full-time.Lastly, this thing just looks cool, the LED customization is pretty good with plenty of options and an infinite amount of color choices, though the LEDs won’t easily display the more vague colors. It has a nice rubberized grip on the thumb side which is really comfy, and it’s a great quality-of-life addition. The LED bars going along the sides of the mouse are stylish, and in general, the LEDs of this mouse are not overbearing at all like many of the other gaming mice in the market at this price range. It also has some nice skates at the bottom that let it glide super smoothly. The plastic does show skin oils and food oils rather glaringly, but it hasn’t been too bad of an issue for me so far. But for this price, what can you expect. Great value overall, would buy again!

Exceptional Performance at an Unbeatable Price. This mouse is honestly amazing, especially for the price. I’ve had my PC for a while, but now that I’m making good money, I wanted to upgrade my gaming setup and first was a keyboard and mouse. I checked out Walmart and Best Buy, but as many of you know, the prices for any decent wireless mouse or keyboard range from $80 to $200, which I think is outrageous. So, I decided to check Amazon and came across the Redragon brand after doing some research. I ordered both a mouse and a keyboard, and I’m seriously impressed. I only paid $21 for the mouse, and it’s incredibly smooth. The LEDs inside the mouse look fantastic, the design feels super comfortable in my hand, and the 2.4 GHz wireless connection has been perfect—no glitches or stuttering at all. I haven’t tried the Bluetooth connection yet, but everything so far has been working flawlessly. One thing I really appreciated is that the mouse comes with a threaded cord, so you don’t have to worry about it accidentally getting cut or breaking easily. It’s durable and adds a little extra peace of mind. As a bonus, they even included stickers in the box, which is always a nice touch. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly mouse that performs like a premium product, I’d definitely recommend this one.

Decent, but a major annoyance with build quality. Pros:- good weight for the price- pleasant material for the hand- great DPI settings- good ergonomicsCons:- documentation is lacking- the braided cable is extremely stiff which can drag along things on the desk- the left click button has a slight preemptive click, which is a deal breaker for meThe left mouse button is quite finicky. It leaves a subtle click in my index finger while applying natural resting pressure on the mouse, and this is the biggest turn off. I don’t know if I somehow got a lemon or if this a widespread manufacturing defect, but I’ve used several Redragon mice before and each seemed to have its own problems. Acoustics of the clicks seem fine, but that little quirky click really messes with me. It’s the biggest turn off and I can’t open the mouse up to hopefully correct it. I was hoping it would be comfortable like my Trident mouse, but this one was a disappointment.UPDATE: I got a replacement and it’s a wonderful mouse after this one didn’t have the same problem with the left click button. I can live with a stiff cable, but overall, it works wonderfully.

Good for the money, needs grip on right side. Purchased for <$20. The multicolor LED lights are perfectly diffused through the outer shell of the mouse and the mouse wheel, they look great. Once I dialed in the sensitivity, this mouse is working great for games like Callisto Protocol and Call of Duty. The 4x button works, but positioned awkwardly that I don’t use it. I’ve had no issues using this mouse. My biggest complaint is the lack of grip on the righthand side of the mouse. Only the left side is rubberized. Right side is perfectly smooth, making it difficult to move the mouse precisely. This is an easy fix with grip tape, but seems an oversight for design.

I thought the scroll wheel on my mouse gave up. Coincidentally, it was another Redragon SKU, the M601-3 Centrophorus. I began a restless search for a successor, one with improved aesthetics, functionality and a drive for longevity, but not financially gluttonous.I scoured the internet, high and low, side to side, black and white and sometimes upside down and inside out. I researched all sorts of dragons, large and small, red and green and even green and red. I learned a great deal about this mythical creature. But in all honesty, none of them would fit on my desk. I doubt any of them would fin in my house. And if they did, did they evolve with an adequate DPI???The search continued and several prospects from numerous brands emerged, but some seemed over engineered for my needs, others were too dull for my creative spirit, and yet others inadequate in all aspects despite their alluring price points. Many other brands were preposterously priced no matter WHAT the function. I was becoming weary. There must be SOMETHING out there which actually exists outside of an imaginary, mythical, yet artistically prolific realm. My primary electronics purveyor did not possess the mouse that would electrify me. Nor did my primary pet shop……… What??? :|And yet again, Amazon had to entertain my propensity for acquiring appurtenances. And yet again…Amazon delivered. But this isn’t an endorsement for Amazon, no. Which is fantastic. And a great resource for random commodity stock, even for a minimalist like myself, who only buys things that are NECESSARY, not over buying, not over spending, just………Right, the Dragon. Well, I searched Amazon…… 😉 ……and was greeted by a deluge of mouse choices… Choices for mice… Choice of mice…… Anyway, some came with tails, some without. I tend to stick to the wired kind because they have been, to date, more reliable and economical (no battery replacements or charging required). I sifted through the digital pile of mice and found this M612 Predator (Great film, by the way. Predator, 1987…The Terminator and Apollo Creed, hunting, or BEING hunted, rather, by a sadistic trophy collecting alien…… *thumbs up*)……Right, the Dragon. So the M612 Predator filled the role I envisioned a mouse would fill. It has, let’s see, left click, right click. So far, so good. It has a scroll wheel. Nice touch. It has two more buttons on the left side for gamers (not fifty buttons, but a modest two) so I don’t feel overwhelmed as I age, what with dementia and arthritis setting in I wouldn’t remember what they all do OR click them if I did. And it has a rapid fire button at the edge of the left click button. Again, a gimmick for gamers but it could double as double click (see what I did ther?) for other applications/programs, giving the left click button some much needed respite.Other than that, it feels great. Much like, what I imagine, a real life dragon would feel like as you caress its scales, which are sensitive to the touch but solidify your grip. It’s contours support your palm gently, yet vigorously. It’s not very heavy and glides on the mouse pad as if it were airborne, gliding the thermals towards the horizon of online wonders. It feels very responsive regardless of what it’s tasked with. Between downtime on War Thunder, or tedious Excel spreadsheet compositions I cannot complain. And lastly, yes……… It breathes fire (RGB). Not too many lighting modes but again, as a minimalist, that’s perfectly fine. It looks elegant and ferocious. Ever see a dragon spewing red flames? That’s what you’ll get with the M612………if……if you set it to all red lighting…After initial use, I actually purchased a second mouse for my daughter. Not only that, but once my M601 scroll wheel came back to life during use as a laptop mouse (unexpected turn of PC/laptop accesory developments) I set the Predator aside for future use once the M601 does finally succumb to a barrage of vehement clicking. I just don’t want to wear and tear it until I’M ready, OK??? But I am pleased to report that my daughter has been using her M612 since July of 2021 without any issues.I highly recommend this mouse. It preforms better than expected and looks and feels great. It also has twice the DPI of the M601 which is more than enough. If only it could cook, I’d be in business.I also highly recommend you watch Predator from 1987 with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Carl Weathers. You won’t be disappointed with either.
